She was born in Fairfield County, a daughter of the late Thomas and Maggie Boulware Traylor. Surviving are two sons, Ernest T. Carter of Titusville, Fla., and Curtis B. Carter of Chester; nine daughters, Mrs.Ann Mull of Catawba, Mrs. Ruby Sherman of Santa Monica, Calif., Mrs. Lula Carpenter of Spruce Pines, N. C., Mrs. Evelyn Gibson of Charlotte, N. C., Mrs. Mary Sanders of Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Betty Galpin of Granada Hills, Calif., Mrs. Eleanor Peterson of Costa Mesa, Calif., Mrs. Ethel Diaz of Martland, Fla., and Mrs. Dianne Alfred of Thousand Oak, Calif.; four brothers, Carl Traylor of Morganton, N. C., Harvey Traylor of Chester, William Traylor of Blair, and Chesney Traylor of Toledo, Ohio; three sisters Mrs. Eunice Stevenson and Mrs. Pauline Stewart of Blair and Mrs. Edith Kirkpatrick of Greensboro, N. C.; 31 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Services will be 4 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church. Barron Funeral Home is in charge.
