(18 Dec 1863 - 4 Feb 1922)

Posted at findagrave.com: Addie married Mareston Kirkpatrick on June 18, 1884. They were the parents of 2 daughters: Nelly and Clare. After his death she married James McKitrick on 5 December 1889 in Humboldt county, Iowa. They were the parents of 6 children: Bennie, Milo, William James, Mayme, Glen Clark, and Claud E.

Feb 16, 1922 - Humboldt Independent - Miss Addie Clark was born in southern Minnesota on the 18th day of December, in the year of 1865, and passed to the life beyond from Warm Springs, Mont., on Saturday, February 4, 1922, being at the ago of 57 years, 1 month and 14 days.

When she was eighteen years old she was united in marriage to Mareston Kirkpatrick, on June 18, 1884 [1882]. To their home was born two children, Mrs. A.L. Sherrill of Waterloo, Iowa, and Mrs. Henry Stange of Livingston, Mont., both of whom are living and were present at the funeral. After only a few years of married life, Mr. Kirkpatrick passed away in Nebraska.

In the year of 1890 [1889] she was married to James Wellington McKitrick, and their home saw the birth of six children, Bennie and Milo both dying as children. Those remaining are Mrs. B.F. Palmer of Wakpola, N.D., W.J. McKitrick of Waterloo, Iowa, G.C. McKitrick of Selfridge, N.D., and C.E. McKitrick of Livingston, Mont.

About thirteen years ago Mr. and Mrs. McKitrick moved out to the Dakotas, and after only a year of residence there, they were seriously injured in an auto accident from which neither of them ever recovered, Mr. McKitrick passing away about six months afterward and Mrs. McKitrick being an invalid ever since. Death therefore came as a messenger of mercy for her, releasing her from the long years of suffering and ushering her into the life that knows no suffering, nor sorrow, nor any such thing.

In her earlier years Mrs. McKitrick united with the Methodist Episcopal church, her membership in the Humboldt church dating back as far as the year 1884. She kept her membership here until the last.

She is survived by her six children above mentioned, and by three sisters and two brothers, all of whom are living in the West and by many other relatives and numerous friends. The remains were brought back to Humboldt and the funeral services were held from the Methodist Episcopal church on Saturday morning, being in charge of the pastor, Rev. Tho's. B. Collins. Interment was made in Union cemetery.
