His date of death is in question, ancestry.com trees show he died April 10, 1966. The only McDonald found in the St. Joseph, Missouri newspapers of April 8, 1966 was an uncle who left him money (along with other relatives). The uncle, Roland Alexander McDonald, died April 7, 1966. Daniel is also listed on findagrave.com as dying April 10, 1966. Also Daniel is in the Social Security Death Index as dying April 1966.
