Ristine, 48, 1015 East Manitoba, died unexpectedly Saturday morning at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital. She was born February 6, 1929 at Minneapolis, Minn. She was raised in Webster, Wis., and moved with her family to Seattle in 1942. She and Archie Ristine were married at Long Beach, California in 1946. They moved to Ellensburg in 1967 after living ten years in Gothenburg, Neb. A licensed practical nurse, Mrs. Ristine had been employed for ten years at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital in the medical records department. She had also served as secretary to Warne Schaap, hospital administrator. She was a member of the Church of Christ and the American Medical Records Association. In addition to her husband, Archie, she is survived by two sons, Gary and Randy, and a granddaughter, Carri Ristine, all of Ellensburg; one daughter, Mrs. Steve (Barbara ) Ohide of Steilacoom; her father, Walter Kleckner and one brother, Eston Kleckner, both of Seattle; and one sister, Mrs. Dick (Betty) Baerman of Peshastin. Funeral was today at Evenson Chapel. The Rev. David VanLandingham officiated and cremation followed at Terrace Heights Memorial Park in Yakima.
