He was born April 27, 1916, to James R. and Alice Six Inman, in Marion County. He was a World War II veteran. Survivors include his wife, Anna; a son, Richard of Oskaloosa; two step-daughters, Mrs. Pete DeFrehn of Grand Island, Neb., and Mrs. Bob Holiday of Urbandale; and a foster brother, Alfred Six of Oskaloosa. The funeral will be at the Garland Chapel Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Max Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery.
