Doniphan---Phillip L. Kirkpatrick, 62-year-old retired carpenter of Doniphan, died at the home of friends at 603 North D Street in Poplar Bluff early yesterday morning. He had been living at the Poplar Bluff address for the last three weeks, but had been in ill for about two months. He was born at Greenville May 20, 1896 and had been a resident of Ripley County for the last three years. In 1922 he married Sybil Downing at Neelyville. She survives. Also surviving are a daughter Mrs. Bertha Manning of Doniphan; three half brothers; a step-brother Fred Kirkpatrick of Route 1, Doniphan; seven half sisters; and three grandchildren. Services will be held at 10 tomorrow morning in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel at Doniphan conducted by the Rev. Lester Beck. Burial will be in the Oak Grove cemetery at Kennett.
