At her request there will be no services. Cremation and inurnment will be handled by Forest Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. She graduated from KU and Denver University Library School. Sarah was a librarian in the Kansas City School System from 1933 through 1979, and had served for a number of years as head librarian at East High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ethel Bower; her sister, Margaret Barnes and her brother, Joe Bower.
