Sikeston Daily Standard, Sikeston, Missouri, Friday, December 20, 1974, Page 41, Col. 2: Gotha, Fla.---Joseph Lee Bush, 53, died Dec. 6 at his home following a three-month illness. Born in Diehlstadt, Mo., he moved to Eustis, Fla., in 1957, then to Gotha two years ago. He was a Baptist and was employed by Florida Gas Transmission Co., at Winter Park. He served with the Army 91st Infantry Division from 1942 to 1945 in Africa and Europe, and was a charter member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4294 at Charleston, Mo., and a member of VFW 8087 at Eustis. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Marion Joyce Skaggs, two sons, Donald R. Bush of Gainesville and Gotha, and Ronald L. Bush of Orlando; one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Smith of Eustis; one brother, Wayne Bush of Mountain View, Mo.; and two grandchildren. Services were conducted Dec. 10 at Hoequist Funeral Home in Winter Garden, Fla. Burial was at Lakeside Memory Gardens in Eustis.
