Union-News, Springfield, Massachusetts, Friday, May 31, 1991: Clary D. Pratt, co-founder of Holyoke firm. Clary D. (Nelson) Pratt, 95, of 32 Park Avenue Court, the co-founder of Pratt & Austin Co. Inc. of Holyoke, died Wednesday in Holyoke Hospital. She was born in Springfield, and was a 1912 graduate of the High School of Commerce. She later moved to West Springfield, and was a member of First Congregational Church and its Women's Guild. She belonged to the Ramapogue Women's Club, the Ramapogue Historical Society, and the West Springfield Women's Club, and was a past president of the Ashleyville Women's Club. Her husband, Leonard C. Pratt, died in 1973. She leaves a son, Robert of West Springfield; seven grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.Another son, Richard N., died in 1980. The funeral will be Saturday morning at Curran-Jones West Springfield Funeral Home, with burial at Hillcrest Park Cemetery in Springfield. Calling hours are this afternoon and evening.
