Clovis Evening News Journal, Clovis, New Mexico, Friday, December 1, 1933, Front Page: Paralytic Stroke Takes Mrs. Burge. A stroke of paralysis this morning claimed the life of Mrs. Minnie Burge, 67, mother of Mrs. Otto Smith. Death came suddenly at the Smith home this morning. Mrs. Burge had not been ill. The body will be shipped tomorrow to Taloga, Okla., for burial. Mr. and Mrs. Smith and their family will go to Taloga for the funeral.
