From legacy.com: Nicholas Clason, Jan 3, 1942 - Oct. 30, 2014,Willow Glen: Following a long, courageous battle with his health, Nick Clason passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Oct. 30, 2014. Nick leaves behind his wife, Karis Clason. Their love story started as seniors at Arroyo High School in San Lorenzo, Ca, and was filled with endless memories, living life to the fullest and enjoying watching their family grow.

He is survived by his son, Keith Clason and his wife Stacie, his daughter Sherry Rodriguez and her husband Rob, and his four grandchildren, Ashley and Anthony Rodriguez and Emilie and Jacob Clason. Nick had a long and successful career at the local IBM plant as an intricate part of the development of hard drive technology. Nick loved listening to the waves crash against his lanai in Kona, Hawaii, the greater South Bay Region VCCA, restoring his '41 Chevy truck and '64 Corvair, and a strong, hot cup of coffee. Join us to celebrate a life beautifully lived at the Three Flames Restaurant at 1547 Meridian Ave in San Jose, Saturday 11/22 from 1-4.
