Natoma Independent, Natoma, Kansas, January 5, 1939, Front Page, Col. 6: Marriages Pfortmiller-Clason. Miss Agnes Pfortmiller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Pfortmiller of Natoma, and Lewis Clason of Norton were united in marriage by Rev. William Knoke, on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 1938, at 2 o'clock p.m. at the Lutheran parsonage in Natoma. The bride's sister, Marie, and Leo Harting of Norton were the attendants. Mrs. Clason has been employed in the Norton Sanitarium for the past two years. Mr. Clason is a medical student in the sanitarium. Mrs. Ed Pfortmiller, mother of the bride, entertained with a six o'clock wedding supper Wednesday evening. Those present other than the bride and groom were their attendants, Marie Pfortmiller and Leo Harting and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Pfortmiller. Following the dinner they left for Norton where Mr. and Mrs. Clason will make their home.
