Pearl Janice (Jan) Tunnell, 59, a resident of Belen, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2000. She was a member of the Golf Road Church of Christ in Belen. Janis worked for Pinkerton Security Service for the past five years. Her father, John Martin, preceded her in death in 1959. Janis is survived by her husband of 12 years, Gerald Ray Tunnell; her 27 grandchildren; her seven gr-grandchildren; her mother, Anna Elsina Clason Martin Billings. Janis is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Sunday, June 19, 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Monday, June 19, 10:00 a.m. , at the Church of Christ, 10 Golf Rd. in Belen. Interment will follow at Sandia Memorial Gardens. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St., Belen.
