Albuquerque Journal, Jan. 28, 2005: Anna Elsina Billings (Nee:Clason). Anna Elsina Billings, 82, of Moriarty passed away Dec. 26 in Albuquerque. She was born to Marion and Abbie Clason on Feb. 21,1922, in Beaver City, Neb. She married Terry Billings on June 5,1990, in Las Vegas, Nev. Anna will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and best friend and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Anna is survived by her sons, Marion Martin of Anaconda, Mont., Berly Martin of Moriarty and Rawlen Martin of Fredericksburg,VA.; daughters, Lillian Mayhill of Tucumcari, Annabelle Company of Alamogordo and Carmen Ann Portwood-Imergoot of Rio Rancho; sister Eileen Baughman of Albuquerque; 17 grandchildren; 47 gr-grandchildren; and 19 gr-gr grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Terry Billings; daughter Pearl Janice Tunnell; her parents, Marion and Abbie Clason; a granddaughter, Ida Elsina Adams; gr-grandson Michael Wright; and her husband John H. Martin. A funeral was held Dec. 31 at the First Baptist Church in Moriarty with Pastor James Thompson officiating. Interment followed at the Mountain View Cemetery in Moriarty. Harris-Hanlon Mortuary, Moriarty.
