Services for Mrs. Helen Lewis, 26, 2937 9th st., who died Monday night in St. Anthony hospital after an illness of two weeks, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Witbeck-Wheeler-Sabien funeral home, Belvidere, with the Rev. Clark Moushon of Brooke Road Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Belvidere cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home after noon today. Mrs. Lewis was born Nov. 8, 1928, in Richland County, Wisconsin, daughter of Elmer and Hazel Clauson [Clason] Thingvold. She resided in Belvidere for a time prior to her marriage to George Lewis April 9, 1948, in Rockford, and had lived in Rockford since. Surviving are her husband; a son, John Harry, 3; and her parents, all of Rockford; seven brothers, Virgil, Robert, Lawrence, and Raymond, all of Rockford; Donavon, Kingston, Wis., Lavern en route home from service in Korea; and Alton in the army at Camp Gordon, Ga.
