He was a shipping clerk at National Lock Co., for 20 years, retiring in 1966. Survivors include his wife, Hazel; seven sons, Virgil, Boscobel, Wis., Donovan, Joliet, Buford, Menomonee Falls, Wis., Alton of Reynolds, Robert, Stillman Valley, Laurence, Rockford, and Raymond, Loves Park; a sister, Lillian Martin, Orfordville, Wis.; and 19 grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Wilbur Christenson Funeral Home, 925 3rd Ave., with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
