Edward Henry Turner

St. Joseph Gazette, St. Joseph, Missouri, November 3, 1945, Page 8, Col. 4: Edward H. Turner, 57 years old, of the Turner Plumbing and Heating Company, died yesterday at a local hospital. Born in Portland, Ore., he had lived 54 years in St. Joseph. His home was at 212 West Cherry street. He had been in business here 38 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mae Turner, a daughter, Mrs. Donald Minnick, Omaha, a son, Sergt. Carl E. Turner, with the 126th general hospital on Leyte Island; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Kehr, Red Oak, Iowa, and Mrs. Hazel Sellstrom, Los Angeles, and three grandchildren. Mr. Turner was a member of Zeredatha Lodge No. 189, A.F. and A.M.; the Scottish Rite bodies, Moila Temple Shrine and the Eagles Lodge. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at the Heaton-BeGolo & Bowman chapel, the Rev. A. G. Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will include A. R. Nicholson, John Schmidt, J. I. Holding, Herman Borngesser, Norman Wright and H. G. Grawe.
