She was born in Weston, Mo., living all of her life in the St. Joseph area. Mrs. Turner was a homemaker, and a member of the Francis Street United Methodist Church, VFW and O.E.S. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward H. Turner in 1935 [1945]. Surviving are a son, Carl Turner, St. Joseph; a daughter, Thelma Minnick, Spencer, Iowa; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a niece and nephew. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Stamey-Lindsey Funeral Home.
