The Spokesman-Review, Spokane, Washington, Wednesday, November 11, 2009: Brown, Mary Belle (Age 72) Entered into eternal rest on November 8, 2009 in Spokane, WA. She was born December 26, 1936 to J. Neil and Martha "Mae" (Warner) Clason in Colome, SD. She was one of seven children. Mary attended Columbia Grade School, and graduated from Rogers High School where she was an active Pirette and Majorette. Mary held a variety of jobs throughout her life, most notable was her civil service at the Fairchild AFB Commissary and Vehicle Maintenance Shop. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Chester, Marion and Jimmy; husbands, Robert Brown and Calvin Brown; and son, Robert "Bobby" Brown, Jr. Mary is survived by her daughters, Patricia Patton (Michael) and Terri Brown; granddaughter, Briana; grandson, Jesse; sister, Mona Briscoe; brothers, Neal Clason and Francis Clason (Pat); and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She is also survived by Cal's children: Curt, Darryl, Kevin, Kathy, Larry and Jodell, and their respective families. Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, November 13, 2009 at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Hillyard Baptist Church, 2121 E. Wabash. Pastor Ron Ulmer, officiating. Interment to follow at Greenwood Memorial Terrace. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hillyard Baptist Church, Hospice of Spokane, or a charity of your choosing.
