The News-Sentinel, Fort Wayne, Indiana, October 3, 1992: Flora Kathryn Kirkpatrick, 75, of Fort Wayne died yesterday at St. Joseph Medical Center. Born in Carterville, Ill., she lived in Fort Wayne for 40 years. Her husband, Rudolph, died in 1987. Surviving are her daughters, Doris Koehlinger of Fort Wayne, Frances Sorrell of New Haven and Valerie Johnson of Baxter, Ky.; sons, Darrell of New Haven, Bruce and Royal Edwin, both of Fort Wayne, Lloyd of Ossian, Iris of Fremont and Mike of Bronson, Mich.; brothers, Earl Ward of Peru, Paul Ward of Hastings, Mich., and Lavern Ward of Payne, Ohio; sister, Dollie Archenbach of Cairo, Ill.; 33 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. Calling will be 5 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 Wells St., with services at 2:30 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
