Journal-Gazette, Fort Wayne, Indiana, February 4, 1987, Page 3C: Rudolph Kirkpatrick, 79, died at 1 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph Medical Center. He was a native of Anna, Ill., and lived in Fort Wayne 35 years. He retired from Peter Eckrich and Sons Meats, Inc. in 1972 after 21 years. Surviving are his wife, Flora; seven sons, Darrell, Royal Edwin, Bruce and Lloyd all of Fort Wayne, Iris, of Fremont, Mike, of Bronson, Mich., and Jerry of Atlanta, Ga.; three daughters, Doris Kohelinger, of Fort Wayne, Frances Sorrell, of New Haven, and Valorie Johnson, of Baxter, Ky.; and 33 grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in C. M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 Wells St., with calling from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
