Kerrville Mountain Sun, Kerrville, Texas, Thursday, January 3, 1952, Page 5, Col. 3: Mrs. Mary S. Boggs Dies In San Antonio, Buried Here Tuesday. Mrs. Mary S. Boggs, 83, died in San Antonio Monday and the last sad rites were held Tuesday from the chapel of the Smith Funeral Home with Rev. W. M. Logan, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment was in the Glen Rest Cemetery.
She was a native of Dysart, Indiana and had lived in Kerr ville for about five years with her daughter, Mrs. A. B. Edson, and family. Other survivors are two sons, Harley and Lester Boggs of Burbank, Cal., and a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Thompson of Rolla, Kansas. Fifteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and two sisters, also survive.
