McDowell, age 68, formerly of Boscobel passed away on Monday, July 27, 1981, at a Madison nursing home. Survivors are two sons, Lawrence Clason and Gary McDowell, both of Madison; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; twelve step-grandchildren; eighteen step great-grandchildren; a step-son, Raymond McDowell of Madison; and a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth McDowell of Boscobel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd on March 15, 1963. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, at the Thoni-Kendall Funeral Home with the Reverend Myrtle I. Baker officiating. Friends may call after 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Haney Ridge Cemetery.
