Charles Henry Davis

Cedar Rapids Evening Gazette, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Wednesday, October 2, 1918, Page 10, Col. 4: Charles H. David died at his home, 413 North Fifth street, Monday, September 30, at the age of 63 years. He was born in Greensburg, Pa., and was united marriage to Miss Irene Reams of Rockford, Iowa, in 1894. Mr. Davis was an old and valued employe of the Milwaukee road having been with the railroad for about thirty years. Surviving him as his wife and one daughter, Caroline, a sister Mrs. Ella Petit of this city, four brothers, John and Sherm of Cedar Rapids and William and Edward of Colorado. The funeral services were to be held this afternoon at the Beatty chapel, the Rev. F. K. Ward officiating. The burial will be in the Linwood cemetery.
