Knoxville News-Sentinel, Knoxville, Tennessee, Monday, April 28, 1975, Page 5: UT Coed Found Dead in Motel. A UT coed apparently took her own life with an overdose of pills Saturday night of Sunday morning, police said. Hillary Ann Mitchell, 20 of Plantation, Fla., was found dead about 1:30 p.m. Sunday in a hotel room near the campus. Police said five empty pill bottles were found in the room. The body was removed to University Hospital. Investigation was continuing. No ruling had been made Monday morning.
