Craig Harvey Clason

(22 Jul 1958 - 19 Jun 2005)

The Gazette, Colorado Springs, Colorado, June 24, 2005: Craig Harvey Clason, of Fountain, CO, left this world on June 19, 2005 at the age of 46 after a long illness. Craig was born July 22, 1958 in Caldwell, ID where he grew up. He was preceded in death by his father, George Harvey Clason. He is survived by his mother, Lavina Frances Clason of Middleton, ID. Craig was a cowboy at heart working on numerous cattle and horse ranches. His greatest enjoyment was horses, which he owned, trained, and taught others how to handle, care, and love. Craig was generous of time and spirit and a very giving and caring man who was always willing to help any way he could. He tried to bring sunshine to everyone's day, even when his own illness had him down. Craig was a country boy who taught us all the simple pleasures of life, and made us wish for less hectic days in the modern life. Craig loved his family and friends very much and will always remain in our hearts. No formal memorial services will be held. A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. It is suggested that in lieu of lowers, donations be made in Craig's name to the charity of the donors choice.
