Amarillo Globe-News, Amarillo, Texas, November 9, 2002: Harvey H. Wines, 94, died Friday, Nov. 8, 2002. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Fairview Cemetery with Tom Posey officiating. Arrangements are by Hughs Funeral Home. Mr. Wines was born Oct. 6, 1908, in Sunset. He was a World War II veteran of the Navy. Survivors include his wife, Edna; a son, Jim Edd Wines of Bedford; two daughters, Lois Gilmer of DeSoto and Kay Schreier of Levelland; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
