The Amarillo Globe-Times, Amarillo, Texas, Wednesday, March 27, 1974, Page 80: Memphis---Funeral services were to be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Today at the First Baptist Church for Charley Wesley Wines,, 81, of Memphis, who died Monday in High Plains Baptist Hospital in Amarillo. The Rev. C. H. Murphy, pastor, was to officiate. Burial was to be in Fairview Cemetery by the Spicer Funeral Home. Mr. Wines was a retired farmer. Survivors include his wife, two daughters, three brothers, three sisters and one grand child.
