Posted at findagrave.com: She moved as an infant to Bemidji and attended Central Elementary and BHS. She married Bernie T. Howell Nov. 29, 1931 in Bemidji. They lived their married life at their home at South Lake Irving, except for two short periods in California. She was a cashier at the National Tea Food Store from 1950 to 1972, when she retired. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, a charter member of and treasurer for several terms with BPO Does Drove 114, and a member of Retired Retail Clerks Association. She gave many hours of volunteer work at the Beltrami Nursing Home beauty salon and to Meals on Wheels. (Full obituary in Bemidji Pioneer, Sept 17, 1996).
