Ottumwa Daily Courier, Ottumwa, Iowa, Monday, June 25, 1956, Page 17, Col. 1: Mrs. Susie Moore, 61, wife of Ralph Moore, died suddenly today. She was taken ill at their home, Ottumwa route 1, and died in an automobile while being taken to a local hospital. She was the daughter of Joseph and Emma Morgan Wolfe, born in Putnam county, Mo., July 29, 1894. She lived in Wapello county 38 years. She was a member of the Wesley Methodist church. Her husband survives, as do two brothers, Thomas and Carmie Wolfe, both of Drexel, Mo., two sisters, Mrs. Albert Miller of Unionville, Mo., and Mrs. Roy Conger of Ottumwa. A sister and two brothers preceded her in death. The body is at the Johnson funeral chapel awaiting completion of funeral arrangements.

Funeral services for Mrs. Susie Moore, 61, wife of Ralph Moore of Ottumwa route 1, will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Johnson funeral chapel. The Rev. Wilson Hyde, pastor of the Wesley Methodist church, will be in charge. Burial will be in Ottumwa cemetery. Pallbearers will be Harry Herman, Floyd De Burn, Darrell Lunsford, Pat Herrmann, Elmer Carr and Leo Sauers. Mrs. Moore died Monday at 10 a.m. en route from her home in an Ottumwa hospital.
