Lucille V. Kirkpatrick Blanton, born September 6, 1915, went to meet her Lord and Savior at 2:-- p.m. December 25, 2002. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Herschel who died on January 23, 1988 and grandson, Steven Blanton of Yuma. Lucille is survived by her sons, Carl of Washington State, Bruce (Rosemary) Blanton of Yuma. H.L. "Stimie" (Emily) Blanton, and her daughter, Barbara Ann (Art) Wells of Tucson; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Chandler of Prescott, her brothers, Alfred and Kenneth Kirkpatrick of Little Rock, AR and Charles Kirkpatrick of Oregon. Lucille was a longtime member of Flowing Wells Assembly of God and served as treasurer of the Women's Ministry. She is deeply loved by friends and family and will be greatly missed. Service Saturday, December 28, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at Flowing Wells Assembly of God. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to service time at the church. Arrangements by Evergreen Mortuary & Cemetery, N. Oracle & Miracle Mile. Memorial contributions may be made to Flowing Wells Assembly of God.
