The Daily Gazette, Schenectady, New York, Tuesday, September 29, 1998: Clifton Park---Mrs. Benga F. Farina, 72, of Oakbrook Commons, died Monday at home after a brief illness. Born in Hackleburg, Ala., Mrs. Farina graduated from Auburn University and the University of Alabama. Since 1988, she resided in Clifton Park, previously living in Latham. In her early years, Mrs. Farina was a research assistant at the University of Alabama. After her marriage, she was the administrative assistant of her husband's dental practice in Latham. She also was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Dr. Luigi V. Farina; a daughter, Benga Farina of Vienna, Va.; two sisters, Ann Hill of Birmingham, Ala., and Hilda Brown of Spartanburg, S.C.; a brother, Charles Frederick of Montgomery, Ala. A memorial service will be at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 9. Burial will be in Jonesville Cemetery.
