Joplin Globe, Joplin, Missouri, Wednesday, May 5, 1954, Page 11, Col. l: Mrs. Juanita Holland Funeral Thursday. Funeral services for Mrs. Juanita L. Holland, 51 years old, will be condcted at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon in the Steve Parker chapel with Elder W. S. Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in Osborne Memorial cemetery. The body will lie in state at the mortuary chapel until the funeral hour. A former resident of Joplin, Mrs. Holland died Monday in Kansas city. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist church. Surviving are her husband, Orie Holland; a son, Gene Nugent of Grand Island, Neb.; a sister, Mrs. Frieda Fay Gilmore of Sugar Creek, Mo.; two brothers, Ralph Briggs of St. Louis and Hoyt Briggs of Whiting, Ind., and four grandchildren.
