Joplin News Herald, Joplin, Missouri, Friday, April 4, 1924, Page 2, Col. 4: Briggs--Mrs. Bessie Briggs, 44 years old, 806 McKinley avenue, died at 9:45 o'clock this morning of Bright's disease at the home of her mother, Mrs. M. C. Harris, 709 Monroe avenue. She is survived by two sons, Hoyt and Ralph Briggs; three daughters, Misses Juanita, Frieda and Ruth Briggs, all at home; two brothers, Clyde Harris of Kansas City, Mo., and Hilary Harris of 709 Monroe avenue; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Kinseler of Kansas City, and mother, Mrs. Harris. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
