Becker, 74, died at Henry County Memorial Hospital early Monday morning, March 6, following a short illness. Laura Winifred Becker, daughter of Dr. John and Winifred (Triplett) Dilts, was born July 18, 1892 in Henry county in the primrose community. She had resided in Henry county all of her life and on a farm south of Mt. Pleasant until 1963, when she moved to Mt. Pleasant. On September 17, 1917 she was married to E. J. Becker, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Frank Becker of Mt. Pleasant, and one grandson. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, at the First Baptist Church. Rev. James Troxel, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in East Salem Cemetery. Friends may call at the R. K. Crane Funeral Home as they desire.
