Roy Ham

Roy Ham, 79, who spent most of his life in Rombauer, died at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday in Doctors Regional Medical Center, after an illness of one year. He was a farmer and a retired maintenance crew worker for Frisco Railroad and lived at 515 Bartlett St. He had also lived in Kennett for 15 years. He was born Oct. 15, 1906, in Rombauer and spent his childhood there. He was married to Truney Hubach on Oct. 4, 1931 at Poplar Bluff, and she survives. Mr. Ham enjoyed visiting with his friends and gardening. He was a member of Rombauer General Baptist Church. Also surviving are one daughter, Vonda Lue Brown of Creswell, Ore.; and two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Rombauer Union Church, with burial in Rombauer Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Friday in White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk.
