The Kansas City Star, Kansas City, Missouri, Monday, March 22, 1993: Mary I. Rankin, 83, Amoret, Mo., formerly of Kansas City, died March 21, 1993, at a hospital in Butler, Mo. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Park Lawn Chapel; burial in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. Mrs. Rankin was born in Wilton, Mo., and lived in Kansas City before moving to Amoret in 1985. She was a member of the Tabernacle Southern Baptist Church. Survivors include five sons, Estel Rankin, Napa, Calif., Fred Rankin, Carmichael, Calif., Marion Rankin, Belton, Harold Rankin, New Cambria, Mo., and Richard Rankin, Kansas City, Kan.; a daughter, Mary Barton, Amoret; a brother, Floyd Estel Ham, Kansas City, Kan.; 18 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
