Sidney Malcolm Shaw

The Oklahoman, Oklahoma City, Oklahma, January 19, 2005: Sydney Malcolm Shaw went home to be with the Lord on December 17, 2004. He died of a massive heart attack. Sydney was born on January 29, 1917 to former Oklahoma state politician A.S.J. Shaw and Daisy Aycock Shaw. He is survived by his wife, Ellen Stewart Shaw, and two children, Patricia Shaw Cellier and Malcolm Sydney Shaw, as well as their spouses, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Syd was a plant manager for NuWay Services, and an elder in the Presbyterian church. He was also an Army veteran in World War II. Syd's memorial service was held at Chisholm Trail Presbyterian Church on December 21, 2004. Officiating at the service was his son, Rev. Mac Shaw, and his nephew, Rev. Tom Stewart. Music was sung by Mac Shaw and Patsy Cellier. Syd will be remembered for his ready smile, his compassion, his helpfulness, and his unconditional love for his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
