The Steamboat Pilot, Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Wednesday, December 9, 1914, Page 2, Col. 2: Mrs. Margaret Phelps, wife of A. H. Phelps of Oak Creek, dropped dead one day last week while attending a meeting of the Maccabees. The immediate cause of death was pronounced by the doctors to have been fatty degeneration of the heart. Deceased was the mother of ten children, six boys and four girls, who, with the husband, survive her.
