The Examiner, Eastern Jackson County, Missouri, Saturday April 16, 2005: Donna Reese Addison, 73, of Shawnee, Kan., (Formerly of Independence), passed away Thursday, April 14. Donna was born Feb. 22, 1932, in Independence to Ivor and Gertrude (Cramer) Reese. She was a homemaker after working as secretary to the president of the Independence Chamber of Commerce, and secretary to the plant manager of Butler Manufacturing. She was a member of Maywood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, in 2001. Donna is survived by her daughter, Robba Addison Moran and husband, Jerry, of Hays, Kan.; her son John Addison and his wife Ann, of Overland Park, Kan.; three sisters, Vesta Belle and Gwen Hutsell both of Seattle, and Janis Peters of Raytown, Mo.; two brothers Trevor Reese of Warrensburg, Mo., and Gordon Reese of Acworth, Ga.; two granddaughters and one grandson. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, April 18, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 39th Street and Missouri 291. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, at the chapel with burial at Mount Washington Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Maywood Baptist Church, 10505 E.
