Clyde Aycock, the son of Mrs. F. E. Aycock of Cisco, was killed in action Oct. 13. He enlisted in the Army April 5, 1917, and received his training at Fort Sam Houston. His mother has received word from Aycock's pal that just before he died he sent word to his mother that "I am ready to die for my country and for her."
