Kirkpatrick, 82, of Piedmont, died on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2000 at the Clarks Mountain Nursing Center in Piedmont. Mrs. Kirkpatrick was born on Jan. 9, 1918, in Patterson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lebanon Baptist Church near Piedmont. On Oct. 27, 1934, she married Ellis Kirkpatrick in Piedmont. He died Dec. 25, 1977. Survivors include five children. Lula Belle Loucks of Piedmont, Robert Kirkpatrick of Hillsboro, Kenneth Kirkpatrick of Pocahontas, Ark., Fay Street of Piedmont, and Danny Kirkpatrick of Marble Hill; one brother Melvin Moore of Piedmont; two sisters, Tennessee Bearden of Piedmont and Mary Lou Brawley of North Bend, Ore.; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Friday at the Morrison-Worley Chapel in Piedmont. The funeral service will be a 2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Tim Adams officiating. Burial will be in the Rings Creek Cemetery in Patterson.
