Harry Hoyt Dawkins

Dawkins,61, of Rt. 3, Port Angeles, died early Friday morning at his home following a short illness. Mr. Dawkins was born in Sand Field, Va., Jan. 2, 1896 and came to Port Angeles with his family in 1929. He was an employee at the Mt. Angeles Cemetery at the time of his death.

Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Addie Dawkins of Great Falls, Mont., the widow, Mrs. Alena Mare Dawkins of Port Angeles, four daughters, Mrs. Helen Beckett and Mrs. Juanita Marguette of Port Angeles, Mrs. Mae Butler of Schoreder, Minn., and Mrs. Lorretta Miles of Casa Blanca, Calif.
Other survivors are six sons: Amos Dawkins of Port Aneles, Lewis dawkins of Hadlock, Jams Dawkins of Crescent City, Calif., Dale Dawkins, Sedro Woolley, and Clyde and Alvin Dawkins, both of Lacomb, Ore. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Harper Funeral Home with the Rev. L. L. Farmann officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Angeles Cemetery.
