Pleasant, Ia., June 22---Correspondence)---Miss Lura Prickett, daughter of John Prickett, of New London, died this morning at Georgetown, Colorado, of hemorrhage of the lungs. She had been in poor health for over a year past, and went west early last winter in search of health. She was twenty-three years of age and about three years ago attended Howe's Academy in this city. Her uncle, W. W. Blacker of New London, starts west in the morning to bring the remains back for interment, which will take place at the Burge cemetery west of New London, the latter part of the week. Rev. W. G. Thorne, of Washington, will conduct the services if he can be secured.
