Stacey, 76, of Dubuque Nursing and Rehab Center, formerly of 2671 Owen Court, died at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, 1998, at the center. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Stacey was a homemaker and lived in Dubuque most of her life. She was born on May 18, 1922, in Manchester, daughter of Frederick and Ethel (Eigenberg) Hosier. She married Vernon Cecil. She later married James Stacey on July 17, 1954, in Davenport; he died on May 23, 1988. She enjoyed visiting and playing cards. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Shirley Cecil) Young and Ms. Sharon Cecil-Williams, both of Manchester, Tenn., Mrs. Donald (Deborah Stacey) Kent, of Beachwood, Ohio, Mrs. James (Deena Stacey) Grieve, of Casper, Wyo., and Ms. Robyn Stacey-Jones, of Providence, R.I.; three sons, Terry Cecil, of Dubuque, David (Mary) Cecil, of Louisville, Ky., and Thomas (Paula) Stacey, of Cuba City, Wis.; 22 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elaine Hosier, of Dubuque, and Mrs. Ralph (Judith) Wallenhorst, of Potosi, Wis.; and a brother, John (Margaret) Hosier, of Dubuque. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Vikki Baker; two sons; and a sister. A Margaret Stacey Memorial Fund has been established.
