Macarina Bridges Hunt

Decatur Wise County Messenger, Decatur, Texas, Friday, July 22, 1921, Page 19, Col. 2: Bridgeport was made sad Thursday morning when Mrs. M. B. Kirkpatrick, an old-time resident, was reported dead, the end coming at the home of her son, L. D. Kirkpatrick, after an illness of some two weeks. While the demise of this good woman was not unexpected, it was nevertheless a distinct shock to her family and numerous devoted friends. She was known and loved by all the old residents of the town for her exalted Christian character, her devotion to her family, her church, her neighbors and friends, and she was ever ready to give assistance to anyone in distress.
