Gordon Lee Mann

From Find-A-Grave.com: Oilman, oil & gas attorney. Gordon Mann, Sr. was an impeccable gentleman who, despite his soft-spoken manner, could hold his own in the tough oil fields of Texas and Oklahoma. Following the stock market crash of 1929, he moved his family to Los Angeles, California, where his daughter, Helen Mann, became a successful actress and dancer (see Find a Grave famous persons listing). Her tragic death at the age of 32 in 1947 was a blow from which he never recovered, and he passed away two years later. His son, Gordon, Jr., became a successful attorney in the insurance business, keeping that part of the family tradition alive.
