Ellis Kirkpatrick was born 29 September 1799 in Green County, Kentucky. He married Anne Fowler, daughter of Sylvanus Fowler, on 5 October 1820, place unknown. She was born in Jackson County, Tennessee, 9 November 1802 and died 10 December 1870. One source says that Ellis died 8 November 1826 in Jackson County, Tennessee. However, if Martha and Anne are his children, then that date must be in error.
There were six (6) children born of the marriage.
