Graveside services will be held April 7, 11:00 AM at West Lawn Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Omaha, Nebraska. Virginia was born April 23, 1923 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She married Harry D. Failing on August 29, 1946 and moved to Kansas City, Missouri where she raised her family. She was a Registered Nurse at North Kansas City Hospital and Children's Mercy Hospital and retired to Sun City, Arizona in 1984. Her husband, Harry, parents, sister, and three brothers preceded Virginia in death. She is remembered by daughter, Pamela Johnson (Rick) of Kansas City, Missouri; son, Mark Failing (Diane) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; son, Scott Failing of Raytown, Missouri; and son, Trent Failing (Debbie) of Kansas City, Missouri, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Virginia's family suggests that any contributions be sent to Children's Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri.
