Burlington Hawk Eye, Burlington, Iowa, Thursday, September 27, 1979, Page 10, Col. 1: Wayland---Mrs. Lovina Liechty, 80, of Wayland, died at 11:10 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Henry County Health Center, Mt. Pleasant. She was born Nov. 20, 1898, at Wayland, the daughter of Benjamin and Lizzie Beckler Kaobel. She married Aaron Liechty at Wayland on Oct. 15, 1919; he died in 1963. She was a member of Wayland Mennonite church. Surviving: Daughter, Mrs. Lois Jones, David, Calif.; two, Robert, Washington, and Benjie, Mt. Pleasant; three grandchildren. Funeral 11 a.m. Friday, Wayland Mennonite church, Douglas Reichenbach officiating; North Hill cemetery. A memorial to the church has been established at Beatty funeral home, Wayland.
